The 1977 GL1000 was nearing completion last weekend and then seemingly the worst thing that could happen happened. I broke the bolt off that is used to adjust one of the valves.
When you have been slowly working on a bike for almost 10 months and something possibly catistrophic happens at the end it is almost enough to make you cry. My heart dropped.
But, like most things in life you give it a week and things dont feel so bad and the replacement part arrive and the repair ends up being miraculously easier than I could have possibly hopped for.
